Suncros Matte Finish Suncreen with SPF 50++ - Product details and review
Hey guys!!
This is my first ever post with full-on review about a
product. I have posted about many products on my insta and in my blog posts but
never done a review on any of them. Today am going to review one of my fav
sunscreens which I have talked about in my skincare post. i.e Suncros Matte Finish soft gel with SPF 50++
This is the sunscreen I use every single day to work. It gives good protection against harmful UVA & UVB rays. It has a SPF of 50+ which is ideal for Indian weather. It suits all skin types and for any age group.

About Product:
This product comes in two different sizes 20 g & 50 g
which retails at Rs. 249 & Rs. 575 respectively. The consistency of this sunscreen is between a cream and
gel. It feels like a soft mousse gel like texture and its white in colour. This
product is free from chemical agents which makes safer to use on anyone.
Most chemical agents like Oxybenzone , Homosalate and Octinoxate are proven to
be harmful for the skin. This sunscreen does not contain any of those harmful
ingredients. It has a mild fragrance and hence can be used for sensitive skin as well. It’s a physical sunscreen which uses Zinc oxide that is micronized
to provide wide coverage and protection. Please look for the full ingredients
list on the picture below.

About usage:
Usually dermatologists recommend an amount of atleast two pumps to give ample coverage. Since the Zinc Oxide in this
sunscreen is micronized (which reduces the molecular size), it is totally fine
to use just one pump. It provides decent coverage with just a pump of the
product. If you feel the need to use more, go ahead and apply liberally on your
face and neck 15 minutes before you head
out. Make sure you cleanse and moisturize your face before applying sunscreen
or anything for that matters.
About my experience with this sunscreen:
Ever since I started using this sunscreen there’s no looking
back. It’s like I have found my holy grail product. This sunscreen is easy to
apply and blends really quick which is ideal for my rush hour in the mornings.
It blends seamlessly without leaving any white cast behind which is a big bonus
again. Who would like to look like a ghost anyways? So am really happy with the
consistency and coverage. Even though this sunscreen claims to be a matte
finish it does not dry the skin or appear dry. It feels like a moisturizer when
applied on the skin with a little shine to it. So you cannot just wear this
sunscreen by itself. Definitely need to apply a powder or something to make it
look shine-free.
Another great thing about this sunscreen is, it acts like a
primer for my makeup. Am not sure what’s in it that makes makeup adhere to it
all day long. It does control oil to a
great extent, a plus again. This
sunscreen does not necessarily claim as non-comdogenic (which is something I look for in any skincare or makeup product) but it did not clog my
pores in any way. Maybe because of the fact, its free of chemical agents be the
reason (not sure though). At the end of the day it does not clog my pores or
make me look oily which is what I need totally.
Do I recommend this sunscreen?

I have reduced 0.5 just for its shiny look but that’s not a
