How to stay positive - my tips for a happy and peaceful life

Welcome guys for another new post. This is a post out of my personal experience in my life. Read on to know more.

I know life gets really overwhelming at times and its hard to stay positive and keep going. I have had my own struggles and am still fighting but I also don’t want these get in the way of my growth. I have evolved so much as a person after I found positivity in my life. So here I present to you guys few things that I follow to stay positive which I believe would help you to stay positive as well.

Always start your day on a positive note
It can be anything that makes you happy which will set a happy mood. For example listening to good music while getting ready to office or playing with your pet for sometime or having a cup of tea in a relaxed way (which is how I start my day personally). When you do something that you absolutely love, it will not only make you happy but generate positive vibes which will carry forward for the rest of the day.

Stay away from pessimists
These people are not only pathetic but makes life miserable for others as well by giving negative opinions about everything you do. Believe in yourself and don’t let anyone define you. If you’re not able to stay away from them better ignore whatever they say and do not let their words affect you.

Stop worrying or fretting
Whatever effort we take to stay positive throughout the day there are many unexpected situations or problems occur which shatters our soul. I have been there too. Whenever something like that happens remember one thing worrying or getting angry over that is total waste. It not only makes the problem worse, it doesn’t help you to think straight as well. Take a deep breath and think what can be done to overcome that. This eliminates the problem much sooner. Remember, there is no problem without a solution.

Organize your day
Planning your day can help you stay focused and engaged which in turn push away any negative vibes from affecting you. When you feel accomplished for the day that makes you feel good and positive. I personally had everything in control when I plan out the day and makes me so much optimistic.

Eat good food and rest well
This may sound cliché but having good sleep and good meals 3 times a day sets a positive mood always. You might have noticed that you feel frustrated and angry over everything when you skip your breakfast or hardly slept the before night. These situations generally release stress hormones which in turn makes you angry and pessimistic. Eat right and sleep tight to stay happy and positive always.

Pamper yourselves 
However busy you might be take at least an hour or so everyday to take off your shoes and have a ‘me’ time. Relaxing yourselves by doing what you love, maybe reading a book or watching your favourite show can calm your mind. Just cool your mind from all the hassles running over your head and relax your own way. Doing what you love might get you indulged and makes you forget all your worries and create good vibes.

Feel proud
Remember to pat yourselves everyday for whatever you’ve accomplished that day which helps you to have faith in yourselves and keep going. Be proud of yourselves for getting up every day and working hard for whatever you’re doing. Never think you have not done enough. Appreciate yourselves for all the little things you do. This will make you more confident and help you achieve bigger in life.

Pray , Pray ,Pray.....
This last tip is something I swear by as ‘the best’ whenever I feel down or generally to stay positive. I am not trying to preach of any sort but ‘prayer’ has made my life so much better. It not only makes me positive but makes me feel strong to handle anything in my life. This is something I religiously do every day for half an hour or so to free up my mind and strengthen myself. All the problems feel so much lighter when I pray. Try it for yourself to see the difference in your attitude and the strength it gives. The book “Power of Positive Thinking’ by Norman is my life-changing book which helped me to find peace through prayer and made the positive self that I am today. Try to get a hands on this book to change your perspective towards everything in life.

I hope y’all found this post useful for staying positive and happy each day. Keep smiling always to make your life and the lives of those around you better and happier. But remember all days are not bed of roses and your attitude towards the day is what changes everything.
